It's an excellent veterinary practice. The vet is very friendly and knows exactly how to treat animals. Unfortunately, my cat suffers from epilepsy, and the vet treated her so well that, thanks to the tablets, she's doing very well again. Many thanks to this wonderful practice.

I am still speechless and deeply shaken by this visit to the veterinary clinic. I arrived at the clinic with my 12-year-old cat, who was severely emaciated and weakened, and was very worried. He was barely eating and clearly unwell. Instead of understanding or compassion, we were treated with condescending and irritable manner from the very beginning. My cat was handled roughly and forced into his carrier – I have never experienced anything like this at a veterinary clinic before. My jacket was simply taken from the carrier and thrown on the floor. In this already extremely emotionally stressful situation, I felt disrespected and humiliated. When we tried to ask factual questions about the diagnosis (they mentioned a tumor or intestinal obstruction) and further treatment, we were accused of lacking trust. Finally, we were asked to leave the clinic – without any further diagnostic tests such as blood work or X-rays. I came in with a sick animal and left with even more fear and disbelief. No pet owner in an emergency should be treated like this.

The best veterinarian far and wide. Empathetic, straightforward, and professional. It couldn't be better. We've been extremely satisfied with her for many years with our horse, dog, and formerly our cats. Five stars are far too few.

My dog's blood tests were dismissed as "everything's fine," even though she was deathly ill. Unfortunately, I only discovered this after she died. I later showed the last blood test to another veterinarian, and they said, "No, the blood test is completely wrong and clearly shows where the problem lies." Sadly, it was too late. My dog has already died from the effects of the illness (as seen in the blood test). Here, she was dismissed as "healthy." If that hadn't happened, she would still be alive today, as the illness could have been treated. Another appointment with Dr. Maiwald also ended in a loud argument. My dog had a very painful ear infection, and Dr. Maiwald... Maiwald tried with all her might to force her down onto the table, shouting at her, "I'll bite you!" and even going for my dog's head with her teeth. Her anger intensified, and she continued to force my dog to the ground, but to no avail, as my dog panicked even more and fought for her life. At that point, I stopped the treatment; I should have done so even sooner. Restraining a dog to continue a treatment is completely unacceptable. It was unprofessional and involved anger and violence because she wasn't responding as expected. Anger has no place in working with animals.

We've been there several times – even once spontaneously for a minor emergency. Each time, we were able to walk in immediately, and our two dogs were always treated excellently. What particularly impressed us: We've rarely seen a veterinarian who practices her profession with so much heart, dedication, and genuine passion. Thank you so much for that!
