We were desperate. Our dog constantly had open wounds on his lips, and cleaning and disinfecting them was always exhausting for both dog and owner. It was painful for the dog. Our dog was losing more and more vitality and joy, constantly preoccupied with his muzzle. We tried everything, and after a long odyssey, we were advised to contact Dr. Mayer. A professional doctor with a heart for both animals and people, he accepted the challenge. He wanted a report on everything that had already been tried. He also provided us with detailed information and was always open and friendly with every question. We, including Crusty, are very grateful to the doctor for finally finding the cause – a rare disease – and a treatment method that works. In our case, we believe he is a doctor who has earned our trust. Crusty hasn't quite forgotten the necessary minor surgery for the lab results, but that will surely resolve itself with the loving care and time he received at the practice. Thank you again!
