I can't understand the bad reviews. I met Dr. Albrecht during his on-call shift. He was very empathetic, friendly, and competent. Sure, there are more modern practices, but here you'll find a very experienced veterinarian.

The good reviews are either a joke or from his family members! Under no circumstances should ANYONE entrust their animal to him, especially not in an emergency. He can't help, but claims he can and lulls them into a false sense of trust.

I also can't understand the bad reviews. We sought a second opinion from him after the veterinary clinic quoted us around €1500 for surgery on our rabbit's broken paw. We received helpful tips on splinting the paw, which has now healed. Our male rabbit was neutered today, and we felt very well cared for. Mr. Albrecht took his time and was very kind. The practice might not be the most modern, but that doesn't matter as long as everything works.

It is unfortunately extremely disastrous to take your pet to Dr. Albrecht. Aside from the fact that his practice is outdated and poorly equipped, Dr. Albrecht strung my cat along for a week. She stopped eating and was lethargic. He gave her an injection to build her up and put her on an IV drip. So far, so good. But after there was no improvement, and he didn't know what to do after a blood test but without an ultrasound, he tried to dissuade me from going to a colleague in Germering who could perform an ultrasound. He insisted that I only go to the university clinic on Monday, even though I had been told on the phone that they didn't have an appointment for an ultrasound until Wednesday. He wanted to do autologous blood therapy instead, even though he didn't even have a diagnosis. Out of spite for my resistance and my unwillingness to wait until Monday, he withheld the blood test results and only gave them to his colleague on Monday. She was horrified. After performing an ultrasound, she told me that her abdomen was full of fluid, and fluid was also accumulating in her lungs. This was because she had a heart problem and sounded like a broken-down car. She immediately referred us to the Haar clinic as an emergency case. They might still be able to help her. She has a serious and advanced heart defect. Over the weekend, however, she would probably have died a painful death! Whether she makes it will unfortunately only become clear in the next few days. Dr. Albrecht was unfortunately far from this diagnosis, but the crucial point is that he tried to prevent me from getting help for my cat and also obstructed the treatment by withholding the test results. And I think the reason is because he didn't want to lose us as paying customers! Not a single cent, Dr. Albrecht!

If zero stars were possible, I would give them... If you have the choice and the opportunity to go to someone else, and you love your pet and want to spare it unnecessary suffering, I would advise you under no circumstances to go to this veterinarian!
