Reviews
I love the treatment my pets receive in here.
Great neighborhood vet with a huge heart for animals and a great team working there. They offer a wide array or services for a wide array of animals.
Everyone was really nice and they all spoke English. The prices are good and the service was quick and accurate
We took our cat to the vet for the first time after she had pinned her ear back for several days and it was clearly itchy. We'd like to emphasize that, despite it being our first visit, we were able to get an appointment at very short notice. Both the vet and the reception staff were very friendly, and the experience was pleasant. The vet examined the ear and took a swab. According to her assessment, there were an extremely high number of mast cells, which is why she referred us to the oncology department of the LMU Small Animal Clinic for further evaluation, including a CT scan. Looking back, however, we'd like to mention that the suspected diagnosis was very emotionally distressing for us. Terms like "oncology," CT scan, and possible radiation therapy left us feeling shocked and almost panicked, and we were very afraid that our cat was seriously ill. Fortunately, the LMU clinic ruled out the diagnosis. In this situation, a little more information would have been helpful – especially the explanation that elevated mast cells can also have other, less serious causes and that it was initially only a suspicion. Unfortunately, we had to gather a lot of information about mast cell tumors and elevated mast cell counts ourselves online, instead of having it explained in detail at the doctor's office. This would have made the two weeks until the final diagnosis significantly less stressful. It's important for us to emphasize that this isn't about the costs incurred, but rather about what we consider to be the insensitive communication of the suspected diagnosis and the lack of information about possible alternative causes. Nevertheless, we are grateful that the examination was thorough and the findings were taken seriously.
I am very satisfied with Dr. Trombach's practice. They accompanied me through the beginning and also the sad end of one of my dogs with empathy and dignity. Diagnoses, surgeries, and all other examinations and vaccinations were always professional and correct. P.S. Thank you for your support recently with my little dog P. on April 23, 2026 😢🫶🏻 For me, there is no better veterinary practice.
