Dr.med.vet. Helmut Fischer

I am very disappointed with this veterinarian. Our cat had dental problems, so I took her to Helmut Fischer. Initially, they didn't even recognize that the cat had dental issues. They simply performed a teeth cleaning and told us everything was fine. Unfortunately, two months later, at a different veterinary practice, half of the cat's teeth had to be extracted. The other veterinarian was astonished that Helmut Fischer could have said "everything was fine." We will never go to Helmut Fischer's veterinary practice again and cannot recommend it!

He's the best vet in the area! We've been going to Dr. Fischer for years. He's very friendly and competent, I find his prices perfectly reasonable, and his staff is always friendly too. I feel very well cared for there!

Unfortunately, our experience at this clinic was extremely disappointing. Our 9-year-old cat, who had already lost a tooth, was offered only a "tartar cleaning" without an X-ray or a thorough diagnosis. The vet said, "Everything will be fine," even though there was clearly a problem with his teeth. Two months later, another tooth fell out, and our cat was obviously in pain that could have been prevented with a timely examination. It's incomprehensible how this clinic has received so many positive reviews: The vet failed to diagnose a common condition in cats—FORL (Fetal Oral Resorption)—and couldn't adequately relieve the animal's pain. We are very disappointed and cannot recommend this clinic to anyone who takes their pet's health seriously.
