A very competent and friendly veterinarian who performs his work with great care and understanding. We've now been to Dr. Schmidt twice and are very satisfied; we'll gladly come again. His prices are also absolutely reasonable. The grounds, the practice, and the treatment rooms are very well-maintained! You can tell that Dr. Schmidt is truly passionate about his work! Very nice/friendly with extensive knowledge. My little Jack Russell Terrier, Amy, enjoys going there and doesn't make a fuss. Mr. Schmidt takes his time, and my little one is always happy to get a treat after her treatment. I would definitely recommend Mr. Schmidt as a veterinarian.

In my opinion, for simple things like vaccinations, it would still be okay. For other or serious cases, it's better to go straight to the clinic and try to save the animal. At the vet in Premich, they found "nothing" with our cat, neither manually nor with X-rays, so they needed to take blood for a diagnosis. They also pulled a tooth, gave him several injections, and "sold" him anti-worming medication and anti-parasite oil in his ear. The whole thing cost about €450 plus about €150 for the blood test. Three days later, when our cat became weak, we went to the veterinary clinic in Würzburg. There, they immediately found a tumor the size of a chicken egg manually, without X-rays, and nobody needed the blood test... In the end: precious time (days) was lost, and our cat died the night before the surgery. He was toothless, but vaccinated against worms...
