I took my German Shepherd, Bonny, to Dr. Gerhardus and his team because of a broken canine tooth. From the very beginning (initial examination, etc.), I felt very comfortable with the team, and the work was carried out to my complete satisfaction. I can highly recommend Dr. Gerhardus and his entire team.
It was a while ago, but I took my German Shepherd there because I could get the quickest appointment for my very sick dog (a young adult German Shepherd, weighing only 16 kilos, with watery diarrhea). He listened to my severely emaciated, seemingly terminally ill dog's medical history and very quickly suspected the actual cause. The change in diet with the recommended enzymes, combined with the injections he administered, turned things around in a very short time! In my opinion, this saved my young dog's life! I am very grateful for that, even though I currently prefer a vet who is closer to me. The fact that I was able to get an appointment so quickly, while all the other veterinary practices couldn't offer me a short-notice appointment despite my dramatic description of the situation, meant a lot! I am very grateful and have only good things to say!
Our Merle is a very anxious, 11-year-old cat who runs away as soon as anyone other than her two primary caregivers comes near. Veterinary visits are therefore always accompanied by dramatic displays from the drama queen. However, at the Gerhardus practice, they have this completely under control. Friendly service and convenient appointment scheduling complete the picture.
I'm so glad I found this practice while our regular vet was on vacation. Thank goodness for Google, because this wasn't originally our usual alternative. Not only did our Beagle, Orwell, receive immediate help, but a heart condition was also discovered. The collaboration between our regular vet and this practice is fantastic, which we're very happy about. I'm absolutely thrilled and can only say, "We were so lucky!"
