We were very satisfied with the whole team. Everyone was very friendly and took their time. We brought our tortoise. We got an appointment quickly after scheduling it by phone. Our problem was solved, and our tortoise is healthy again. There are parking spaces right in front of the building. If they're full, surely the team can't be held responsible, right? Seriously.

I'm writing about my dog's dental treatment: I'm deeply shocked by the way this practice, and especially the veterinarian, spoke. What I heard today has left me shaking my head in disbelief. Our dog has been having dental problems for quite some time. Some teeth urgently need to be extracted, which, of course, isn't exactly cheap. The veterinarian categorically refuses to offer any payment plan for this expense and the urgently needed treatment. I should add that there have already been several emergency treatments, and the topic of payment plans has been raised repeatedly – but the answer has always been the same. The reason: they don't want to chase after customers for unpaid bills. Right!? Today, my dog needed another emergency treatment due to tooth pain. I don't want to go into too much detail, so I'll keep it brief: Because the dog hasn't had surgery yet and the teeth urgently need to be removed, they said (and this is simply unbelievable) "We would be torturing our dog." An additional argument to this effect: "If you have a toothache, you go to the dentist, right?" Yes, we do go to the dentist, but is that a good comparison in this context? I don't think so! And I also think that a strict distinction should be made between human and veterinary medicine, if only for billing reasons! There are very few parallels, and even if some human medical services aren't covered by health insurance, competent veterinarians can still find workarounds, such as payment plans, especially for dentists! Of course, it's much harder for veterinary medicine to "make money" due to the lack of government or insurance funding. However, with the significantly increased new fee schedule from 2022, veterinarians shouldn't have any more complaints. The new 2022 fee schedule is a much-discussed topic, especially among pet owners, and yes, it's at least a good sign that the federal government has already indicated its intention to review it. Of course, it's considerably more difficult for veterinarians to "make money" due to the lack of government or insurance-based funding. In this context, I'd like to return to the statement that we are torturing our dog: Regarding the exorbitant veterinary bills, the lack of financial support for pet owners, and the absence of interim solutions such as payment plans for expensive surgeries, I wonder if, at least in this practice, the "well-being of the animal" is a priority? Or perhaps it's more about lining the pockets of the owner or filling the bank account? Please excuse my bluntness. My statement here is both an expression and a reflection of the claim that we are torturing our dog. This is simply an outrageous statement and accusation that I unfortunately cannot simply accept. Perhaps you should consider, with your supposed love for animals, whether such behavior is appropriate, or whether competent advice might not be a better solution, instead of simply answering questions with "ha, I don't know either." We certainly aren't torturing our dog, considering how many exorbitant bills we've already paid at this practice. And if this veterinarian cared even a little bit about an animal, she would be more concerned with how to help that creature in the long term, instead of sending someone off with such a dismissive remark (so you're not contributing to their suffering?). I'm truly sorry, but the way she treated me today was incredibly incompetent and downright rude; I shouldn't have to put up with that anymore. Perhaps this practice should only treat animals belonging to owners with a correspondingly stable income (then payment plans and payment 3 to 4 weeks after receiving the bill would certainly work 😉). Even though human medicine differs significantly from veterinary medicine, there's also a "two-tier system" in both, although it doesn't apply to animals!

Actually, it should be a 5, but that's not possible. As long as your pet is healthy, maybe everything is fine. We have two cats who have been with her for a while. But as I said, they're all healthy and doing well. Nevertheless, we paid €300 for the last vaccination and consultation (about 1 minute). She's now misdiagnosed our dog, whom we rescued from the shelter and who always had problems with very loose stools, for the third time! Despite this, she charges over €30 each time for just 1 minute of petting the dog, plus the wrong medication again. Stay away from this practice, which looks and uses equipment that's stuck in the 70s. It's clearly only in it for the money! The woman is over 70 and just wants to secure her retirement 😡
