A little over three years ago, during a routine dental cleaning, an X-ray of our cat Foxi was taken, and she was diagnosed with FORL (Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions). Two affected teeth were removed at that time. Without the X-ray, Foxi's very painful condition would have gone undetected, as she hadn't shown any unusual behavior or eating habits beforehand. At the beginning of this month, Foxi underwent another dental cleaning at the practice of Dr. Trauwitz, DVM. Again, she hadn't shown any unusual eating habits beforehand, but given her medical history, we felt it was very important to have her teeth checked. The surgery revealed a severe case of FORL, necessitating the surgical removal of several teeth. In addition, root fragments from what appeared to be previously fallen-out teeth had to be removed from the jawbone. Even though we hadn't noticed any unusual symptoms in Foxi beforehand that might have indicated her serious illness and severe pain, we've observed a significant change in her behavior since the surgery: she sleeps less and is much more active and playful. She's also less withdrawn and constantly seeks our company. Since Foxi's illness didn't manifest as changes in her eating habits or severe tooth discoloration, it would most likely have gone undetected without the X-ray, and our cat would have had to silently endure her pain. We thank the team at the veterinary practice of Dr. von Trauwitz for the professional diagnosis, the surgery, and the aftercare – also on behalf of our cat, who is finally pain-free again! ;-)

My cat had emergency dental surgery. The entire staff was incredibly empathetic, and my cat received excellent care. The surgery went smoothly. I was thoroughly informed beforehand. Afterwards, I was given pain medication and antibiotics. I can highly recommend this veterinary practice, especially for their dental work.

I had my two cats neutered here and felt incredibly well cared for from the very beginning. Before the procedure, I was thoroughly informed about the process and the costs, all my concerns were taken seriously, and I felt that my cats were in the best possible hands. Even when one of my cats later developed swelling due to the sutures, I was able to drop in without any problems and was seen immediately. I always felt that my cats were in perfect hands. Although I live in Nuremberg, I deliberately choose to go here because I haven't felt so well cared for at any other practice. Many thanks to the entire team!
