Good vet, we stopped for our dog's EU passport to be stamped before returning home to the UK UPDATE 2024 As we find ourselves in the Black Forest again before returning to the UK, we visited again for the pet passport check and worming tablet. Very friendly service again.

AHC Official Vet. Great for worming for uk return. I took my own worming tablets and it all went well.

Unfortunately, we only met Dr. Baumer and her lovely assistant through the weekend emergency service. Dr. Baumer is very competent and very direct, which you have to appreciate, but we prefer someone who speaks plainly. We felt very well cared for during our difficult time with our dog. We ultimately had to have our dog put down, and even that was handled with great empathy. If we ever get another dog, we would definitely choose Dr. Baumer. Thank you so much for your expertise.

On Friday, July 13, 2026, my dog and I had an appointment at the veterinary clinic at 11:00 AM. We arrived about 10 minutes early. At that time, three other people with their animals were already in the waiting room. Over time, the waiting room became increasingly crowded, and it was also very hot that day. Eventually, two patients were called into the examination rooms. A few minutes later, however, a woman with her dog was called in, even though she had arrived at the clinic well after us. When I pointed out to the receptionist that I had an appointment at 11:00 AM, I received only the curt reply that all patients were being called in. By this time, it was already about 11:35 AM. The waiting room was still overcrowded and uncomfortably hot. Furthermore, there wasn't even water available for the animals. At 11:45 AM, we were still waiting. It was also striking that, despite the planned closing time of 12:00 PM, new patients continued to arrive and take seats in the already overcrowded waiting room. At 12:00 PM, we finally decided to leave the practice without a word. Such poor time management and lack of care towards both people and animals are unacceptable to me. Since there were clearly no emergencies, a one-hour wait—especially in these temperatures—is unreasonable. I will not support such a situation in the future.
