This vets was recommended to useven though it is not local and it definitely lives up to that recommendation. The girls are lovely, they even try their English. You never feel you are trying to be sold something more than you need. 5*

Dr. Schneider is a fantastic veterinarian. We were looking for a new vet and are so glad we chose Dr. Schneider. She is very friendly, explains everything very clearly, and you feel well-informed. Her team is also very kind and accommodating to both the animals and their owners. Our dog's surgery went perfectly, and we are thrilled. Oh, and the prices are very reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise. We highly recommend Dr. Schneider.

A small veterinary practice that's suitable if you have a young and healthy animal. However, as soon as the animals get older and their health problems become more complex, this isn't necessarily the right place. Our old cat was there for blood work. A few days later, at reception, Ms. Leicht gave me herbal ampoules for his kidneys. I couldn't speak with Dr. Schneider personally about this due to lack of time. She said the values weren't great for his age and that I should give him the ampoules. She also gave him an antibiotic for an inflammation in his mouth. Two days later, our cat's health had deteriorated drastically, so we had to go to the emergency veterinary clinic in Neubulach. There, they told us the blood test results indicated acute kidney failure, and the inflammation in his mouth was a symptom of that, not an inflammation that could be treated with antibiotics. They said the animal was essentially at the end of its life. We had to have him euthanized immediately! To this day, I am appalled and deeply disappointed by this kind of treatment! Due to time constraints, Ms. Leicht at reception now acts as the doctor herself, just to keep things running smoothly, with disastrous consequences, as you can see. This led to a phone call with Dr. Schneider... She apologized and tried to explain... but basically, it would have been enough to tell us that the animal's test results were terrible and that there wasn't much more they could do. It would also have been helpful to recognize that the oral condition was related. That way, we could have spared the animal the ordeal of antibiotics! After another misdiagnosis, we didn't take our second cat back to this practice. We switched to another one and are happy with it. Completely independent of these incidents, this practice unfortunately can't do much diagnostic work. It starts with ultrasound 🫩, let alone dental work or anything like that. Therefore, when an animal is getting on in years, it's much more sensible to visit a practice that covers several specialties and examinations; otherwise, you just get sent from one doctor to another! The telephone accessibility was also a disaster!!! It's unacceptable that you can't reach a veterinary practice all day! Quantity over quality.

Ms. Schneider took plenty of time for the initial consultation during our first visit. We were able to drop in relatively spontaneously, and our cat received prompt care. We were also pleasantly surprised by the price, as it was quite reasonable. Overall, we felt our pet was in very good hands!
