We have been patients of Dr. Bartels and her team with our male and female cats since 2004. We initially went there on a recommendation, and in the meantime, we also saw two other veterinarians. One was a vet from our extended family circle of acquaintances, and the other was also recommended. Sometimes you have to experience different practices to know who or what is truly good. Ultimately, we found that Dr. Bartels' small animal practice is the best for us personally, and we would never take our animals anywhere else. Our male cat was certainly not an easy patient, due to his illnesses and his condition. Even when Dr. Bartels, despite her considerable expertise, didn't immediately have an answer or felt that something else could be done for our cat, she would research it or consult with colleagues. We always felt well-advised and cared for there. Plenty of time was always taken, and we never felt rushed or anything like that. Ultimately, Dr. Bartels' small animal practice has proven to be the best for us personally, and we never felt rushed or anything like that. We personally cannot understand the review that mentioned unfriendliness. The practice is always busy, and it's certainly often stressful for the team. Nevertheless, they were always friendly to us and lovingly cared for our two beloved pets. Of course, there were times when, even with an appointment and already in the examination room, we had to wait another 10-15 minutes. However, if I expect sufficient time for my pet and me, then I must also allow the other patients the same. One mustn't forget that there's another little furry friend sitting next door who is very likely also feeling quite unwell. We also cannot confirm or understand the review claiming that they only care about money. Anyone who truly knows Dr. Bartels knows that this is not the case. We always felt that the well-being and recovery of the animals were their top priority. Our experience also showed that the prices are not significantly different from those of other veterinary practices. We also cannot confirm the review that the staff only cares about their wallets. To all those who generally complain about veterinary costs, I'd like to say one thing. The moment you decide to get a pet, you also decide to be responsible for all subsequent costs that the animal incurs. This includes veterinary costs and medications that the animal may need for its entire life. We ourselves have already spent several thousand euros on veterinary and medical expenses for our two furry friends. About 85-90 percent of that is for our male cat, which shows that things can go either way, and you should be aware of that. Especially for cats, we personally can't recommend a better veterinarian. Dr. Bartels and her team were always very warm and friendly to our two rascals and to us. They always had a sympathetic ear for our concerns and problems. A clear recommendation from us.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bartels and her team for over 12 years with my cats and dogs, and I've always been satisfied. She takes her time with the animals and listens carefully to the owners' medical history. The diagnoses have been accurate, and the treatments haven't taken long. For me, there's no reason to look for another veterinarian.
