We had an urgent emergency with our dog last night. Dr. Eiler was on call, but clearly didn't want to answer the phone. We tried countless times to reach him on his mobile number, but to no avail. Finally, we made the long drive to the Nuremberg Animal Clinic, where our beloved dog was graciously put to sleep. Dr. Eiler is a disgrace to all reputable veterinarians and should not be allowed to provide emergency services! Furthermore, due to his attitude, Dr. Eiler should retire from his profession and should not be allowed to earn money from animals, even during normal working hours.
Dr. Eiler, in my opinion, has failed as a veterinarian. You were on emergency duty on March 11, 2024, when we called you in the middle of the night, wanting to bring our dying dog in. You brushed us off on the phone and told us to go to the Nuremberg Animal Clinic. My dog certainly wouldn't have survived that trip. In my opinion, you are in the wrong profession. Apparently, the interest in and profit from a horse is more important than putting a dying dog out of its misery. You should be ashamed of yourself. Sincerely, Martina Schneider
I found Dr. Eiler to be a very competent, calm, experienced, and honest person. My horse had recently developed stress colic due to various circumstances. We were always taken very seriously, received expert help, and was treated with empathy and patience (general examination, rectal examination, and injections), all at very fair prices. Because of the frequency of the colic, Dr. Eiler referred us to the clinic for imaging. I also found this approach to be very competent, as it was clearly communicated that his own diagnostic options were exhausted and that imaging could provide further assistance. We are now undergoing treatment at the clinic and are well on the road to recovery. Thank you very much, Dr. Eiler!
