I made an emergency visit ! On the internet it shows that it is open 24/24, but you need to call before you get there. Being the first time I turned to Mr. Doctor, I did not know that.... Arriving there at 5 in the morning, I woke him from sleep, but in 10 minutes I was admitted to the office. The price was higher than a normal visit, but you are expected to pay extra :)

November 2023: Fantastic vet that was able to see my cat within 45 minutes at 11pm on a Monday. My cat had a very swollen gland suddenly and the vet diagnosed him with a broken tooth, gave me some medication and booked him in for surgery for later in the week. He also speaks great English. Really super, would recommend. They are open 24-7, but please call before you arrive. Edit Jan 2025: It is now 1 year later and we use this vet for both our cats. They are absolutely fantastic and are fully recommended. One of my cats can be a bit aggressive in stressful situations but the vet here calms him down completely, it's amazing.

Professional service 👌 and they offer excellent availability: most of the time I can get an appointment for the next day already.

We went to the emergency vet on Sunday morning because our dog was suffering from acute abdominal pain. On the positive side, the quick telephone response time, the short-notice appointment scheduling, and the friendly staff on site were all commendable. However, I have serious concerns about the billing. When scheduling the appointment, we pointed out that our dog had previously been treated with a Buscopan injection for similar issues, and we felt this would likely be sufficient again. Nevertheless, a general examination was charged separately. Since the vet was unfamiliar with the dog, I can understand that he wanted to assess the situation himself first. However, the examination was limited to a brief auscultation and palpation of the abdomen. I find the amount of the bill particularly unreasonable. The treatment was billed at almost four times the standard veterinary fee schedule (GOT). The entire treatment took approximately five minutes, yet the cost was over €200. I understand that emergency services are more expensive and that an additional emergency service fee is charged. Based on my previous experience, emergency services typically charge twice the standard fee schedule, which is why the fees charged here are incomprehensible to me. From a financial perspective, I would therefore not recommend this practice. The scope of treatment was not commensurate with the costs incurred.

Mr. Baumann is an exceptional veterinarian whom I wholeheartedly recommend. His expertise is impressive, and at the same time, he exudes a calm demeanor that immediately inspires confidence. He always takes his time, explains everything clearly, and treats the animals with great empathy and care. You can immediately tell how important the animals' well-being truly is to him. For me, his work is worth every penny. I am also particularly grateful that he makes appointments available even at short notice when urgent help is needed. We and our cats are happy! :)
