For minor issues, this vet might be recommendable, but for more serious problems, unfortunately not. As friendly as the team is, I've had two very bad experiences. With my previous dog, despite my request for a thorough examination, breast and lung cancer weren't detected. With my current dog, a fracture was overlooked. Therefore, I unfortunately cannot recommend this veterinarian, and I will seek other veterinary care in the future.

As long as our cats had no problems, we were actually satisfied. The staff was always friendly, appointments were easy and quick to schedule, all vaccinations were done, and the prices were fair. But when I said a year ago that something wasn't right with our second cat, the response was that she was fine and that frequent vomiting was due to hairballs in her stomach, nothing more. When the cat started visibly losing weight in July 2025, despite a good appetite and frequent vomiting, we weren't taken seriously. The attitude was, "She looks fine, losing a little weight won't hurt" 🧐🤨🤦🏻‍♀️ (she was a bit chubby, not always overweight!!!)... Since October 2025, we've been going to a different vet who really took everything seriously. Blood tests showed she had hyperthyroidism, which isn't at all harmless for cats; it also puts a lot of strain on the heart and/or kidneys! She's now receiving medication to stabilize her thyroid and for her enlarged heart, and we hope it wasn't too late that our 8-year-old cat will stay with us for a few more years 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻...we won't be coming to this veterinary practice anymore because of this; our trust is gone 💔😔!

Dr. Armbrecht treated an injured cat without hesitation, even though it wasn't his office hours. I'm always very satisfied with him. He's straightforward and not out to rip you off. The team behind him is always friendly and courteous. I always enjoy going there.

Dr. Bergmann at Dr. Armbrecht's practice is by far the best veterinarian! She has had my trust and that of my two Yorkshire Terriers for many years. 5 stars and more!!
