We rescued 5 baby cats (7 weeks old). We went to Till to get deworming tablets because the little ones had worms. He charged €50 for 5 tablets, which I found quite high. He gave us the tablets without saying anything no advice nothing. We gave the little ones the tablets & a few hours later around 11 pm one of the kittens was lying around with its tongue out & unresponsive. He only had a very weak heartbeat & breathing. He didn't react to anything. Luckily we found a doctor who was on emergency duty (Dr. Viola Dahm). She said that the cat was acting like it was under anesthesia & that she is confused about his state. I told her about the tablets & she also had them with her. She added that the little ones had a strong overdose & that they should have gotten the tablets for kittens (half a tablet per kitten). The tablets that Till sold to us for €10 each only cost €3 by her & we didn't need 5 tablets we could've bought only 3 tablets for €9. The doctor told me that if I hadn't come to her with the little one he would have died & I will never forgive till for that. He put 5 cat baby lives at risk for money. the kittens are fine now thanks to dr. dahm!
Dr. Till neutered four of our male guinea pigs – all of them died within a few days of the procedure! We were able to pick them up after just one hour – four neuterings in one hour should have raised a red flag. The guinea pigs were given to us while still under anesthesia – the first male was already dead when we arrived home. The second one started bleeding that same evening – the stitches hadn't been done properly and had opened up – he had to be euthanized at the veterinary clinic. The third male was found dead in his enclosure two mornings later, and that same evening the last guinea pig also had to be taken to the clinic because he was lethargic. At the clinic, it turned out he had an inflammation with fluid in his abdomen – a consequence of the surgery. This guinea pig also had to be euthanized. We contacted Dr. Till paid €300 for the castration (with a "discount"), another hundreds of euros at the veterinary clinic, and yet all four guinea pigs, who were all healthy and active, are dead – after only three days! We will never go there again!
My cat wasn't feeling well. Since our usual vet wasn't available, I went to another one. I was able to get in quickly on short notice. But I found the way my cat was treated completely unacceptable. So I know I've been there once and never again!
For me, he's the best vet. I've been taking my dog to Dr. Till for treatment and care for many years and I'm always very satisfied. He's helped me out several times in emergencies and got my wirehaired pointer back on his feet. Everyone is incredibly kind, friendly, and motivated. I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Till and his team. Thank you so much for the past years and especially for the last few days.
Zero stars, really. Due to a misdiagnosis last Friday, my dog sadly passed away last night. Diagnosing gastritis as kidney failure is a fatal error in itself. On top of that, he administered medication without even remotely examining the dog. He simply ordered a blood test (that's where the money is, after all). He then tried to analyze the results in the doctor's office (impossible). And then he couldn't even interpret the parameters. She was only 7 years old. This "doctor" is disgusting.
