For horses, he's a very good and competent veterinarian. Quite affordable, too. He's always quick and reliable when needed. Unfortunately, he wasn't the right one for my rabbit. He gave my rabbit an antibiotic injection that was approved for horses, not small animals. The initial examination was rather brief, and he diagnosed rabbit snuffles too quickly, without properly examining his teeth. In the end, it turned out to be a dental issue; the wheezing was just a symptom, and the rabbit suffered unnecessarily because the antibiotic didn't work (without addressing the underlying cause). At the next veterinary clinic, after a thorough 10-minute examination of his teeth, we were diagnosed with spurs pointing towards his tongue and given an appointment for dental treatment the very next day. I wish he had diagnosed my rabbit that way. So, I wouldn't recommend him for small animals, but I would for horses!

Yesterday, I unfortunately had to take my terminally ill dog to him because my usual vet was already closed. The only option left was euthanasia, as he had a testicular tumor in its final stages. Even though this was an incredibly difficult decision for me, this vet remained objective and animal-centered, and was honest with me instead of just trying to make more money. Sometimes you have to take paths you don't want to take, but he was very empathetic with my dog ​​and explained everything to me. Thank you to him for how he handled this difficult situation.

In my opinion, Dr. Wünsch is a very animal-friendly veterinarian who is truly dedicated to the well-being of animals. I went to Dr. Wünsch with my mother because my African pygmy hedgehog was suffering from severe respiratory distress and was in danger of suffocating. All the other veterinarians had either refused to treat me or couldn't help with this type of animal. Other veterinarians told me my hedgehog was going to die. I found Dr. Wünsch and contacted him with my problem, hoping he could help me. Dr. Wünsch had already finished for the day, but he still took the time to talk to me and was willing to help. He examined my hedgehog with great empathy and tried everything he could to help him. And today my hedgehog is doing much better; he's almost completely healthy again, even though other veterinarians told me he was going to die. I am Dr. Wünsch. I am so grateful for all his efforts and for doing everything possible to help my little hedgehog, Manfred. Without Mr. Wünsch's help and dedication, Manfred wouldn't be alive today.
