Very friendly, competent, and even available on a public holiday. Cosmo and I thank you for your help.
The best veterinarian! He has been a wonderful caregiver for me and my cat all these years. Mr. Bethe is highly competent, experienced, and empathetic towards both animals and people. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Bethe most sincerely.
Yesterday, I took my cat to Dr. Bethe's emergency clinic because he had an intestinal obstruction. I called beforehand to inquire whether he was willing to operate on my cat. He was showing acute symptoms of an obstruction after eating a toy. Dr. Bethe didn't take my concerns seriously and simply said my cat just had fur in his stomach and fobbed us off with an anti-nausea injection. I repeatedly pointed out to him that my cat's condition was serious, as this wasn't the first time this had happened. I paid €100 for the anti-nausea injection and his incorrect diagnosis, which would have been justified if Dr. Bethe had made the correct diagnosis. He said his abdomen was completely soft and that nothing would be visible on an X-ray. Unfortunately, he made absolutely no effort and just wanted to get rid of us. Immediately after leaving his practice, I went straight to an animal hospital. There, they immediately felt for the foreign object, said his abdomen was severely distended, and immediately prepared for surgery. My cat is now out of danger. However, I don't have Mr. Bethe to thank for that. I will avoid this veterinarian from now on and unfortunately cannot recommend him at all.
I took my cat there for the first time today. He's a really kind man. He treated me like a man. We immediately felt comfortable with him. Highly recommended.
Perfect, older veterinary practice. We've been regular customers with our animals for many years.
