Dr. Stefan Steinhauser impresses with his exceptional calm and composure, which instills a great deal of trust and security not only in the animals but also in their owners. His professional expertise and empathetic approach make him a veterinarian who can be recommended without reservation.
For me, he's the best veterinarian I know. Competent, very kind and friendly, even to my four-legged friends. Highly recommended for any animal illness.
For us, this is clearly the best veterinarian around. If your pet is unwell, you can come in immediately and won't be put off until the next day. Someone always answers the phone, which unfortunately isn't always the case. Otherwise, they're simply top-notch: competent, calm, friendly, and you can tell that the animals' well-being is truly their top priority. We're so glad to have such a veterinarian nearby. Highly recommended.
For several years now, Dr. Steinhauser has been caring for my two cats, who unfortunately suffer from illness. With incredible empathy, patience, and expertise, he lovingly attends to every detail of my cats' care. You can immediately tell that the animals' well-being is truly his priority. Even in difficult situations, he always takes the time to explain everything clearly and find the best possible treatment. I am incredibly grateful to have such a competent and caring veterinarian by our side. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants their animals to be in the best hands! Thank you so much!
I contacted this veterinarian through the emergency service because my newborn kittens were severely hypothermic and their mother had a fever of 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit). Instead of receiving medical guidance or empathetic help in an emergency situation, I was treated irritably and rudely on the phone. I was asked, "What do you think I should do now?" – a question no concerned pet owner wants to hear from an emergency contact. The first call was also abruptly ended while I was trying to provide important information (birth weights) to assess their condition. Although I followed his advice to contact another practice, which was no longer available after 10 p.m., I was accused of being late when I called again at 10:51 p.m. – even though calling the emergency service again was the only logical course of action. Ultimately, I drove for over an hour to the Sattledt Animal Clinic. There, in stark contrast to my experience here, I received an exceptionally warm welcome. The vet there was able to stabilize the mother immediately and provide us with medication and puppy milk. Unfortunately, two of the four puppies died. A clear, professional explanation during the initial phone call would have saved us a lot of time. In my experience, anyone seeking expert guidance and compassionate care in an emergency will not find it here.
