Background: Our cat was apparently mistreated in Friedrichroda by Dr. Gürtler. We suspected he had gotten into a fight with our other cat and suffered a cut on the lens of his right eye. The vet in Friedrichroda said it was conjunctivitis and treated it with cortisone drops and ointments. When the damage didn't improve but worsened, we changed vets at the beginning of December. The new vet performed the blue light test and confirmed the suspected cut on the lens of his right eye. The cortisone was immediately discontinued, and treatment with antibiotics and intensive care was initiated. However, she said that the cortisone had damaged the lens, causing it to become discolored. We tried everything, but in mid-January, we went to Dr. Stief in Mühlhausen. She said the lens needed to be replaced and that the constant pain had caused entropion (rolling eyelids), which also needed to be corrected. Now, in mid-February, after the surgery, stitches, and healing of his eyes, we are simply grateful. We have our playful and cuddly cat back! Many thanks to Dr. Stief's team, and a special thank you to Dr. Stief herself, who did such a great job getting our baby back on his feet.

We can't thank you enough; we were seen incredibly quickly with our emergency. She was immediately stabilized and then operated on. Everything was transparent and easy for us to understand.
