It's like a miracle what Dr. Knafl consistently achieves with my dog. We've been to many different veterinarians in Carinthia, Styria (a well-known clinic for joint problems in Leoben), and to the largest clinic in Austria in Sattledt. My dog, Noah, has severe joint problems and a shoulder joint badly damaged by bacteria. Noah weighs 40 kg (he used to weigh more) and is a very large Bernese Mountain Dog mix, 9 1/2 years old. About two years ago, after I had already tried other therapies, we were given two options: joint fusion or amputation of the affected leg and another, "proper" cruciate ligament surgery on his hind leg. (I had previously had him operated on in Wernberg, and the more serious problems arose afterward due to subsequent sepsis.) Noah weighs 40 kg (he used to weigh more) and is a very large Bernese Mountain Dog mix, 9 1/2 years old. After the painful experience with my beloved dog, Noah's mother, of no longer blindly trusting veterinarians and instead taking my time to do my own research, I returned to Carinthia and found Dr. Knafl. Thanks to osteopathy, homeopathy, and the right vet, we didn't need any further surgeries. Noah really enjoys visiting the vet; there's no other vet for my Noah! The most unfriendly vet! I don't understand all the positive reviews. I brought my dog ​​(9 months old, from a rescue shelter) and was immediately met with nothing but negative and derogatory comments about him. My dog ​​was completely terrified and insecure (which is never the case with vets), as no one talked to him or tried to calm him down. He was simply held down by the receptionist while the vet handled him and continued to complain about rescue dogs. In the end, she "diagnosed" something that wasn't the case at all, as it had been ruled out by X-rays and another competent vet. I'd give her zero stars if I could!

I came to Dr. Knafl with my 14-year-old Labrador, Ari, through a recommendation.
