Excellent clinic, even though it was unfortunately too late for our peacock chick. But now I at least know which clinic to contact for peacocks. Sadly, there are too few veterinarians who treat peacocks, even if it means driving for over an hour.

A trip to the vet isn't always the most pleasant experience, but when it's necessary, I'm happy to take my bantam chickens from Legden to Schüttorf. At this small animal practice, it's worth mentioning that the vets are very empathetic and always try to help the chickens, explaining and visually demonstrating what's wrong to the owners. The entire team, despite the large number of patients, is always kind and courteous, creating a calming atmosphere not only for the animals. It almost goes without saying that the staff is highly competent, but they'll even x-ray a chick if necessary. And the chickens are completely relaxed after the treatment. There's no other vet for my chickens.

Even though I've had to leave some of my chickens behind, I've always been helped as much as possible with this little one, and I feel understood. They're not farm animals to me, but my pets. I'm really glad to have such competent doctors and appropriate diagnostic options within easy reach! Keep up the good work 👏🏻
