Gemeinschaftspraxis Dr. Mennicke GbR

I've been a regular at this practice since I was a teenager. Unfortunately, I'm no longer there due to my move to another city. However, I'd like to leave a review. Dr. Mennicke has always been professional and competent. Above all, thorough! I've seen other general practitioners work in a completely different way. Anyone who denies him competence is simply a medical layman and has no clue.

I can't recommend it at all. The staff is unfortunately unfriendly and unhelpful. I think the one-star rating is unfair, as it doesn't deserve any stars.

I have good reason to doubt Dr. Mennicke's competence and social empathy: Although I came to the practice with an appointment and in acute pain, the receptionists turned me away after a 30-minute wait, which was completely wasted. The doctor didn't even examine my case himself or explain to me why he wasn't competent enough to prescribe a specific ointment for bacterial dermatitis (the treatment for which is practically always the same and can even be Googled as a layperson).

Incredibly incompetent staff, unfriendly, rude, and dismissive. Anyone who wants to take a sick note can go there. Of course, they can take sick notes, but they also offer rudeness and insults to the doctor's assistants. I doubt their competence when it comes to illness, though. BUT, my recommendation: It's better to go to a friendly, professional practice where you're treated like a person and not like a number. They seem to think it's payday when someone comes in. Forget it!

Our whole family are patients of Dr. Markus and Melanie Mennicke. They are both excellent doctors, and the medical assistants are very friendly and helpful. I don't know why so many people complain; perhaps it's their own fault, but it's always easier to blame others. Great doctors and staff.
