Mr. Arnold is a amiable, humorous country veterinarian. His small practice is well-equipped. He clearly explains what measures he would and would not perform in each case. He's not shy about it. You can then decide for yourself. I've been visiting him with my cats for 17 years and have always been satisfied. I consider his prices reasonable. He's open weekdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and by appointment.

I absolutely cannot understand the positive reviews! We took our dog there twice (he's quite large but incredibly well-behaved), and he was so afraid of being touched that you could really tell. He was supposed to look in his ear, but instead told us to check it ourselves with a cotton swab! That's unacceptable! I'm not poking around in my dog's ear! And he charged a hefty price for that! Furthermore, I recently needed sedation for my horse, which was ridiculously expensive. When it didn't work and I called, he simply said it wasn't enough and I should get more. Why did I even bother giving them my horse's weight? No thanks, never again! For me, the worst vet in the area!
