A very good veterinarian, in my opinion, who helped our dog a great deal. An odyssey of visits to various veterinarians and animal hospitals has finally come to an end. However, due to our dog's age, we are fortunate enough to gain a few more months without causing him unnecessary suffering. Thanks to the correct diagnosis and appropriate medication, he has a significantly better quality of life and seems to be experiencing much less pain.

We came here for the emergency service on a Sunday because our 10-year-old dog collapsed, whimpering. The vet brushed off the dark red mucus coming from her rear end, saying it could be normal a few days or a week and a half after her heat cycle. After a brief examination, his diagnosis was: lumbago. We were somewhat surprised by the completely different diagnosis than we had expected. Pain medication and that was it. He then recommended that we consider having our dog spayed to prevent future problems, as this can cause more issues in older dogs. (At least!!) The diagnosis seemed wrong to me, so I went back to my regular vet on Monday. My dog ​​still seemed very lethargic and was eating less. She performed an ultrasound and immediately saw that it was pyometra, which required immediate treatment and then surgery (emergency surgery to remove her uterus and ovaries). A swab confirmed the diagnosis. You can recommend Dr. I can't blame Höfler for not doing an ultrasound, since he doesn't have the equipment, but he could have taken a swab. Then he would have immediately seen that her wound was completely infected. We could have saved ourselves the money, including the emergency service fee. I'm so glad I listened to my gut feeling! Unfortunately, I can't recommend this vet, even though he was friendly. Next time, if emergency service were needed, I would even drive further or go directly to a larger clinic.

Excellent veterinarian. He helped us tremendously on Sunday. Our dog suffered a deep, bleeding laceration/cut on his leg. Mr. Höfler answered the phone, even though he wasn't on call, and told us to come in immediately. We greatly appreciate his excellent treatment and his willingness to help right away, outside of regular office hours. Thank you so much, Mr. Höfler, keep up the good work!

We just found a cat on the side of the road that wasn't moving its hind legs and immediately started meowing for help. Since it was the middle of the night, 3:30 a.m., I couldn't ask anyone in the neighborhood who the cat belonged to. When I called the emergency vet clinic, the man on the phone told me to just take the cat home and see a vet in the morning. When I explained that I already have two cats at home and I didn't know how they would react to another cat, he just said they'd get along. When I asked when it would be considered an emergency and we could bring the cat in, he had no answer. He just repeated that we should take the cat home. We've given the cat food and a blanket and will check on it again tomorrow morning. It's a shame that we, or rather the cat, couldn't get any help.
