I'm very disappointed. My cat was at the vet's the day before she died, and he didn't even listen to her lungs or take an X-ray, even though she hadn't eaten or drunk anything for days. He said he needed to deworm her and that was the reason. Yesterday, my cat died from pulmonary edema (fluid in the lungs). It was in its final stages, and unfortunately, they couldn't save her. As a vet, he should have noticed this immediately, right? Now she's gone, and she wasn't even a year old.

I've been a patient there for over 20 years with several cats. Our new ones are also treated there. The prices are excellent and not overpriced like some others who charge according to the most expensive scale. They're also available outside of business hours in emergencies, because animals in need don't know what those are, even if, unfortunately, euthanasia is necessary on a public holiday. A huge plus is the open consultation every evening. Yes, if it's busy, you have to be a little patient, but we rarely have to wait long. Of course, surgeries and such are only done by appointment.

We visited Dr. Potjans with our 3,5 months old Great Dane as a routine visit. The place is nice and clean. Dr. Potjans was really friendly with us, despite our difficulties with German Language (he spoke also English with us:) ). The rates are fair in my opinion.

An incredibly wonderful and empathetic veterinarian. You can tell he's truly passionate about his work; he's very well-read and explains things clearly and thoroughly. With other vets, you often don't get any explanation at all, probably because they think you wouldn't understand anyway, and then they can sell you two or three more medications, since the customer won't get it. That's absolutely not the case with Dr. Potjans. On the contrary, he explains everything in detail and then tells you what medication/treatment is appropriate and what isn't. Truly the best vet I've ever been to.
