I have never encountered such kind staff and doctors. They acted with genuine compassion. My dachshund mix had a severe slipped disc and, after being unable to urinate on his own that morning, was examined and operated on immediately after a brief phone call. I felt completely taken seriously and was kept informed of everything over the phone. The trip was truly worthwhile. Thanks to the excellent treatment, he will be able to walk again against all odds, and I am simply overjoyed. They also took plenty of time for the handover of the dog and the explanation of the diagnosis and aftercare. I can wholeheartedly recommend this small animal surgery clinic. I would go there again in a heartbeat, and that's why it gets a full 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our first visit to this wonderful veterinary clinic came in December 2024 when our then 7-month-old male dog, Cooper (a real penis specialist), had a rather unusual problem: a prolapsed urethral mucosa. We have never seen such a fantastic team of veterinarians and such caring staff as at Gassal's. They are so warm and loving in their interactions with both the animal and the owner. Their professionalism and pursuit of perfection for the animals are simply incredible and indescribable. Then, in October 2025, we took our female dog, Maddie (Princess Panzer), there for a major operation, and the team supported us through all the emotional phases that owners experience. Today, Cooper can urinate again, and Maddie can breathe wonderfully 😊. We can wholeheartedly recommend this clinic and thank them a thousand times for everything 🍀.

Today my little Lotte broke her right leg, but our vet, Dr. Andrea Leue, was able to get an appointment for her immediately in Großderschau. He explained everything to me in a calm voice and eased my anxiety. After three hours, I was able to pick her up again. I'm so happy we have such a great practice. I want to thank the doctor and his team for the quick help for my little Lotte 🙏❤️🐾🥰🙋🏻‍♀️

Our Labrador, Erich, had to undergo surgery for a large tumor. During the healing process, he developed a wound healing complication, requiring a second operation. Throughout this time, we felt reassured that we were not alone with Erich and that our concerns were truly being taken seriously. We received highly professional and incredibly compassionate support at all times. Dr. Stefan Gassal performed the surgery on Erich and took ample time to explain everything clearly. Dr. Bettina Gassal's care was equally competent, dedicated, and warm. It is evident that the clinic not only operates at a high medical level but also prioritizes the well-being of both the animals and their owners. Another operation is scheduled due to a different condition. It is all the more reassuring for us to know that Erich is in the best hands and that everything is being done to ensure he gets through this as well.
