Last Sunday evening, we were forced to take our dog (a Bullmastiff) to the clinic because he seemed to be constipated. We briefly explained the situation and were able to come in immediately. Upon arrival, he was examined right away, and the staff gathered information. The constipation was confirmed after an X-ray. Shortly afterward, my dog ​​received several enemas, but nothing happened. The veterinarian discussed the next steps and potential costs with us. Unfortunately, we had to leave him overnight. The following day, he was put under anesthesia, and they first tried to resolve the problem without surgery, but this was unsuccessful. He then had surgery that same day. Unfortunately, he had to stay another night because his body temperature wasn't yet back to normal, and it was discovered that his kidneys weren't functioning perfectly, although this wasn't life-threatening. The day after the visit, we were contacted; everything was back to normal and Eddy was ready to be picked up. We were kept informed about every situation and what costs we might incur. When we picked Eddy up, we had a conversation with the veterinarian, who explained everything to us from A to Z. In that sense, we would like to sincerely thank the entire team for their professional work and loving care of Eddy. P.S. To those who gave only one star or less: When I get a pet, I know from the start that it can involve various costs, and it's not just for food. Since the pandemic, costs have risen in all sectors, including pet care. And of course, these costs should be covered; we don't work for free. I highly recommend pet insurance. Thank you so much! ☺️

We took our dog Bailey to Jan-Niklas Gross's veterinary clinic. I'm absolutely thrilled. He took his time, examined her very thoroughly, and explained everything clearly. He was incredibly empathetic and loving towards our dog. You can tell immediately that the animal's well-being is his top priority. Professionally and personally, he's simply outstanding. I felt like I was in a casino when I experienced the exploitation and rip-offs. They offered frightening diagnoses with exorbitantly high costs, but that wasn't the case at all. They treated my wallet more than my cat. Definitely not recommended!

If I, as a dog, could write a review, I would say: "Here, I am understood." 🐾 I've been a patient at the clinic at the animal shelter in Kücknitz for many years, and my owner and I always enjoy coming here. The team treats me with calm, patience, and a lot of heart—even when I'm nervous. My owner especially appreciates the high level of expertise and the honest, humane nature of all the staff. Despite the size of the practice, you never feel like "just a number." Everything is very well organized, yet personal and attentive. We find it particularly impressive that they always think proactively and seek individual, creative solutions—with experience, courage, and a great deal of empathy.
