We have been very satisfied customers for years with all our cats. Zora, 1 year old, is usually very timid, but at the vet's, she willingly lies in her arms and enjoys being petted, as well as by all the staff. Despite her recent eye surgery and post-operative pain, she feels very comfortable at the practice. A positive point to note is the expert advice, which begins right on the phone. Whether your cat is coughing, has swelling, or is having trouble breathing, you get an appointment immediately, or within a maximum of 2-3 days, depending on the urgency. I'm happy with the prices; they don't charge exorbitant rates (compare prices in Freiburg), and the invoices clearly show all the work, materials, and medications administered. The practice and its team are also very accommodating. Best regards, The Eichin Family

After just a few appointments, we switched veterinary practices. The practice team is very friendly, but Ms. Wiedemann unfortunately didn't take our concerns, observations, and descriptions of our dog's problems seriously enough. We were repeatedly fobbed off and sent home with comments like, "Everything's fine, he's not showing any pain," or "A little hip movement never hurt anyone." The examination was superficial. Even our question about physiotherapy was ignored. After switching practices, it turned out that our dog had moderate hip dysplasia, short ulna syndrome, and two bone fragments in his elbow—which were then immediately operated on. So, unfortunately, this wasn't the right or competent practice for our dog.

Disappointment and Loss of Trust – Not Recommended Initially, I trusted Dr. Weidemann – as long as it was about routine treatments, everything was fine. But when my dog became seriously ill, it became clear that neither the necessary care nor consistency was present. My dog suffered from severe diarrhea and visible pain for weeks. Two blood tests were performed, but although the symptoms persisted and worsened, the treatment was never adjusted. The prescribed painkillers were ineffective – yet nothing was changed. Just anti-diarrheal tablets, week after week, as if that were normal. My indications that my dog was in pain were simply brushed aside – "You just have to endure it." Meanwhile, his condition deteriorated. Despite regular appointments, nothing was questioned – but of course, the bills were still collected. In the end, my dog suffered unnecessarily, and I regret not having gone elsewhere sooner. Absolutely not recommended for serious illnesses. Anyone who loves their pet should think carefully about who they entrust it to.

For three years, we regularly took our cat, Tine, to the veterinary practice for checkups and vaccinations. What we experienced there is beyond questionable. To name just one issue, ear mites were repeatedly misdiagnosed as "potting soil," even though we repeatedly and emphatically requested treatment. Prolonged use of cortisone for asthma, without any prior screening for diabetes, resulted in our cat losing 30% of her weight, dropping from 5 kg to 3.6 kg within two months. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. We switched veterinary practices... it was a close call. However, Dr. Wiedemann has now sent me an additional bill from her successor—to date—totaling almost €800. Needless to say, I intend to return these bills along with my review.
