Reviews
On vacation, I came here by chance, due to a small respiratory emergency from my French bulldog. I found competence and kindness at the right price. Positive experience, I recommend.
I am VERY surprised from the positive reviews. I've been to quite a lot of vets in Germany, but this was by far the worst. 1) We had to wait outside in the open air parking for nearly two hours, and it was -5 degrees. We were freezing, and so was our dog who was already too stressed. I never had a service in my life in which there was no waiting room, and people had to wait in a muddy cars parking. This being a COVID regulation is not a justification, you can just do what others do which is give exact appointments, however they told us that they are not giving any appointments, and that we have to go and wait. 2) They had us pay quite a lot and refused to give us a bill, because "it's late". That's way too unprofessional and non justified. I understand that the employees were tired and wanted to go home, but you can't have a client pay without giving them any bill! 3) We asked them to fill for us a routinal paper so that we can claim our money back from our insurance and they did not want to do that. We have to argue with them over and over, and then after they filled the diagnosis section (which is sufficient) we asked them to sign it, otherwise the paper is useless, and they refused that. This took another 20 mins of arguing in which they got pretty rude and impolite, until they gave us a stamp at the end. I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't sign a paper in which they wrote the diagnosis they made for our dog. 4) A few weeks after this, we get an extra bill from a laboratory that we were never told about. We should be informed about everything we have to pay in advance by the vet, especially that we asked about the costs and the receipt they later sent us via mail was supposed to be comprehensive. All these made our experience especially horrible.
The vet is kind, understanding and incredibly efficient (and fast)! We went without an appointment on a Thursday and there was very little waiting time. We were very-very pleased with our experience and this kind and excellent vet certainly helped our doggie on her journey to recovery. She's now fully recovered from her injury.
All is great, accept maybe waiting time. Personally, I would prefer reservation so that I would not need to wait for an hour in the queue and my pet would have less stress as well.
We visited Regensburg for a weekend as tourists. Our dog started to act weird and was obviously not feeling well so we immediately went to the nearest vet. We came there without appointment and they told us we will probably wait for a while, but we only waited for about an hour. We don't speak German at all but all their staff we met spoke English very well. They asked a lot of questions and examined our dog properly. They determined that his back hurt and gave us some pills. An hour after he took his first pill, our dog was feeling great again. Thank you very much for helping our dog and also for saving our vacation 🙏🏽
