We have been there a few times and only had good experiences. Friendly, competent staff. Our Galgo is very nervous and they were wonderful with her. I can highly recommend the clinic.

First and last time

A huge thank you to the Regensburg Animal Health Center! We brought our 14-year-old dog in on Rose Monday (the Monday before Ash Wednesday) because of a torn cruciate ligament and were able to schedule surgery just two days later. The attending veterinarian, Dr. Wiegand, is truly fantastic. His empathetic approach and expertise were invaluable, and he had a calming effect on our dog. The surgery went very well, and when the bandage was changed two days later, our four-legged friend was overjoyed to see Dr. Wiegand and Michaela (I hope I remembered her name correctly) again, jumping up and wagging his tail. The entire practice team is also very friendly, dedicated, and empathetic. I can wholeheartedly recommend the practice and especially Dr. Wiegand. The surgery was nine weeks ago, and our Wastl is already back on his walks. Thank you so much for the fantastic care and the wonderful work you did for our dog.

We had a terrible experience with this practice. We took our cat there twice for an eye problem, and no one could tell us what it was. What's more, Dr. Pessoa gave us an ointment that made the eye close completely and said we needed lab tests, which would cost almost 400 euros. She didn't tell us the prices beforehand, but it was necessary, and the total was really high. To get the lab results, we had to call and write, even though we asked to have them sent by email. But the results were useless anyway, because at another practice, the doctor immediately told us: the condition is typical for Maine Coon cats. We would say that the doctors at this practice are incompetent and are doing everything they can just to make money.

We had an appointment today at the animal health center with Dr. Wiegand. We had already been to him a year ago and were very satisfied then – and we were again this time. Dr. Wiegand is a very nice and, above all, competent veterinarian. I especially appreciate that he works very carefully and attentively, even when administering sedation. You really feel like you and your pet are in good hands. The reception team is also incredibly friendly and helpful. We were able to get an appointment very quickly – the very next day. There was hardly any waiting time, and the practice is very clean and well-organized. I can highly recommend the practice and Dr. Wiegand!
