Today was my first visit to Dr. Effer, and I felt incredibly well cared for with my boa constrictor. She examined the "little 8kg" snake calmly and without any hesitation. 😊 I thought her handling of the animal and the treatment were excellent, and I'm so glad to have finally found a reptile veterinarian where I feel comfortable. I'm happy to drive an hour for that!
Very friendly and highly competent, with truly reasonable prices. She takes plenty of time for her patients and their owners and handles the animals with great care and gentleness. It was my first time seeing her with my five aquatic turtles, and I will definitely be back!
A huge thank you and much praise to Dr. Effer and her team who treated our tortoise (Spike). We felt very well advised and got the impression that Spike was in the very best hands. Even in an emergency, they were there immediately. Thank you so much! By the way, Spike is doing great and survived his winter hibernation in the refrigerator without any problems. Now he's running and climbing around his outdoor enclosure and seems to be enjoying himself.

A very, very nice veterinarian. I'm not very familiar with our tortoise myself yet, so it was important to me that she be examined and, if necessary, treated by a reptile specialist. We felt very well cared for and advised, and will therefore make the somewhat long trip again, at the latest before hibernation. Thank you so much!
