Reviews
I can highly recommend Dr. Funk's practice. The team is friendly and very competent. They always offer helpful advice and don't immediately prescribe antibiotics, only as a last resort. Their so-called "magic powder" for gastrointestinal issues is phenomenal.
I really wonder how this practice can still be open with all the negative reviews and bad recommendations from people I know. Since my cat has a mild bacterial infection in her right eye, I wanted to give the practice a chance today. Everything went super smoothly on the phone, and we were told to come in right away. But on arrival, we were disappointed to find a locked door. When we rang the bell, we heard someone inside (most likely the vet) shouting loudly, accompanied by the squawking of a parrot. It was so bizarre and unpleasant that my cat, my boyfriend, and I just looked at each other skeptically. After ringing the bell three times without success, we'd had enough. We drove to Sankt Augustin instead. My cat received excellent care there and felt completely at ease. This practice will never see us again. I'd give it zero stars if I could! What a strange place. And it's really crazy—they even have laundry hanging on the clothesline outside the door.
On behalf of my cat Mia, I would like to thank you all so much. Mia hadn't eaten for two days until yesterday, was very lethargic, and kept swallowing strangely. I called the Funk veterinary practice and was able to come in immediately. She was examined right away, and the cause in her stomach was quickly found. Mia was given a natural remedy and has been back to her old self since this morning, eating well and playing a lot. :-) Thank you for the practical tips and your empathetic approach.
So kind! Even after regular opening hours, they provided free medical care for our weakened wild bird over the weekend and arranged for its safe return. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about birds. Thank you so much! It's wonderful to know there are still veterinary practices where animal welfare is truly the top priority.
Very kind people who have the well being of animals as priority number one. Thank you very much for your help
