As emergency patients, we had to wait what felt like 2 hours—in reality, it was only 60 minutes—in the sweltering heat. My puppy was constipated, sitting still, and just shivering. Important appointments like nail trimming were done on time. Great... (un)fortunate for us as emergency patients. On top of that, we paid 7 times more for the same service than we would have paid locally. Here in Harsewinkel, it only costs €15, and I was even asked how best to handle my puppy. She likes to lie on her back. It took the three of us to restrain her, and she almost fell asleep during the grooming... I find communication extremely helpful. That's why I'm very involved in educational programs. Visits like this will not be happening again in the future. Everyone can decide for themselves... What a shame! Oh dear... 🥀 If I'm neither heard nor taken seriously, is my decision very selfish, or caring?! Every dog ​​owner can decide that for themselves. My wallet also needs to be spared, so I'd rather buy my dog ​​another new chew toy – my partner agrees. My dog ​​thanks me for it. How do you decide???

My cat was hit by a car, and we had to take her to the vet immediately. The entire team responded incredibly quickly, kindly, and helpfully. From the moment we walked in, we knew that both people and animals were in the best hands. The vet was fantastic – she explained everything clearly, outlined the next steps, and exuded a calm demeanor that was a great comfort to us. Appointments can be booked online – great for someone who works shifts. Friendly service for both dog and owner. I feel well-informed and given helpful advice. Separate waiting rooms for dogs and cats.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed, especially since this practice had been my veterinary clinic for six years. When my cat had an acute emergency and couldn't urinate, I wasn't treated and was simply referred to an animal hospital. After his hospital stay, my cat developed complications. The receptionist dismissed these as "normal" without offering to bring the cat in for a check-up or consult a veterinarian. Instead, she merely expressed displeasure that the hospital hadn't yet sent the results. Especially in such a sensitive situation, I would have expected more care, professional assessment, and a greater sense of responsibility. Overall, I felt my concerns about my pet weren't taken seriously. Now my cat is hospitalized again.

I take my two dogs and three cats to the small animal practice in Soest. I'm very satisfied and feel well cared for. Even my timid and anxious rescue dog let them touch and examine him right away. I can highly recommend the practice and the team.
