Mr. Dima: Apparently, a very competent veterinarian and very nice receptionists. Which is more than can be said for the owner. I came to the practice with my dachshund, whom I had left in the car for the time being. He was screaming in pain at every touch, and I asked for emergency treatment. The receptionist said she would try to squeeze me in and that I would have to wait. Since she hadn't seen the animal yet, I said, "Yes, of course, but I can't wait for hours; my dog ​​is screaming in pain." - in a perfectly calm and normal tone. So I got my dog ​​and was seen very quickly. I met a very competent and friendly veterinarian who treated my dog ​​and scheduled an appointment for an X-ray the next day. As soon as I got home, the practice called to say I was banned and that the appointment for the next day was canceled because I had supposedly been so "unfriendly" as to point out that my dog ​​was seriously suffering and needed immediate help. Excuse me? I mean, of course, you're not exactly a paragon of friendliness and empathy, meticulously observing every nuance of word choice and tone of voice, when you've had a toothache for two days and are extremely worried about your dog, but unfriendly or impolite is something else entirely. I simply explained, in a matter-of-fact way, that it was truly urgent in this case—also to find out if I might need to go somewhere else. If you can't say that in this practice without risking being thrown out, then the best expertise of the employed dentist and the friendliness of the staff are of little use; that's just completely unacceptable. And then, cowardly, after the fact – the owner didn't even have the courage to say it to my face and had her employee call me afterwards!!!) So, before you, as a highly satisfied customer, accidentally say the wrong thing and end up with a veterinarian you don't know: It's better to find a decent vet right away who isn't overly sensitive about your furry friend… Update / Reply to the reply: Your answer is factually incorrect, but whatever keeps your tears away… I'm grateful to you. Your ban from the premises meant that my dog ​​found a wonderful veterinarian, Dr. F., in Achern, and a fantastic surgeon at the Gaggenau Animal Clinic, who operated on him two days later. That's right, a herniated disc isn't life-threatening – there's "only" a risk of permanent paralysis from the cervical spine down if it isn't treated promptly and appropriately, and the animal is crying out in pain. Update / Reply to the reply: Your answer is factually incorrect, but whatever keeps you from crying… If this happens while I'm out walking my dog, I go straight to the vet, and I couldn't care less whether I have my wallet with me or if the waiting room is full; my dog ​​is either seen next or I go to another vet, it's that simple – I don't wait any "usual amount of time" as if the dog had an upset stomach. Making this clear isn't impolite, it's necessary, especially if the dog is still in the car, so you don't have to move him more than necessary if you have to drive on.

Hello everyone, I'd like to share my experience with the clinic and the entire team. We have a small Yorkshire Terrier named Lisa, 9 years old. One morning, she suddenly became very ill, and we discovered she had swallowed small stones. We then went to the Appenweier Small Animal Clinic and were seen immediately. Several examinations were performed right there – blood tests, X-rays, etc. It turned out that Lisa was truly in mortal danger. Surgery was immediately recommended. All of this happened in the morning, and by evening we were able to take our little darling home. I would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Dmytro, who treated us. His expertise and recommendations for Lisa's recovery were truly outstanding. A week later, our little darling is back on her feet, bringing joy to our family. Thank you again to the entire team for your compassion and professionalism. You didn't just give us back our dog, but also joy and a member of our family.
