Our French Bulldog, Carla, had a torn cruciate ligament and a damaged meniscus. After another clinic offered an appointment in two weeks, we were referred to the Small Animal Center by our canine physiotherapist, where we were able to get an appointment as soon as possible. It was the best decision! The entire team was very friendly, competent, and patient. You can contact them anytime with questions and they will respond as quickly as possible. Before the surgery, we were given excellent information and felt very well cared for. Afterward, we received plenty of information and medication to take home, along with a request to contact them if anything came up. It was a textbook surgery without any complications. While the follow-up appointments were with our local vet, they also sent the X-rays to the clinic. We were particularly impressed that Dr. Schäffner always contacted us personally on the same day to discuss the images and clarify the next steps. We hadn't expected this level of service and have never experienced it before, either in human or veterinary medicine. ... All in all, we highly recommend them and extend our sincere thanks for the superbly performed surgery and the unparalleled care!
