High-quality veterinary care: Our 7.5-month-old American Bulldog puppy underwent surgery on June 2, 2026, at the Small Animal Clinic of Justus Liebig University Giessen. He was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia, which was subsequently treated surgically at the clinic. The arthroscopic procedure was performed meticulously and professionally. The procedure was explained clearly, and ample time was taken to demonstrate each step transparently. The entire team worked together seamlessly. I was particularly impressed by the fact that the clinic, as a university institution, operates independently and maintains a clear focus on providing excellent veterinary care. We were pleasantly surprised by the price, as it was more affordable than expected. Overall, I am very satisfied with the treatment and care and would like to thank the entire team.

Our dog had to undergo emergency surgery about two weeks ago over the weekend due to a suspected ruptured splenic tumor. It was an absolutely life-threatening situation, which was recognized immediately upon his arrival! He received excellent surgery and care. We are incredibly grateful to the clinic for still having our furry friend. Our only minor criticism concerns communication. We received no information over the weekend. We were simply told that the surgery had gone well under the circumstances, and also regarding the histological findings, which were subsequently discussed thoroughly with the senior veterinarian. Many thanks to the entire surgical team at the Veterinary University of Giessen for your dedication, despite the very stressful daily routine caused by the numerous emergencies.
