Reviews
Professional treatment and very friendly doctors. Thanks again.
We found a very young, helpless bird and were initially unsure what to do. At the bird clinic, we received an incredibly warm welcome. The staff member took the time to examine the little patient, calmly explained everything, and even thanked us for bringing the bird in. You can immediately tell that the animals' well-being is their top priority. We were even given a business card so we can follow up on the bird. It's reassuring to know that such facilities and such dedicated people exist. Thank you so much for the warm welcome and for helping the little bird!
I can't comment on the treatment itself. But what I can criticize about this clinic is their exorbitant prices on weekends. Our little budgie had problems yesterday, Sunday, and the only avian specialist in the area was in Giessen (100 km away). On the phone, they told us that on Sundays, the price is three times higher. And the sum for the diagnosis alone was €600… This price is completely unreasonable for helping a small animal. It's important to understand that this only covers the diagnosis; what other costs we might incur were completely unknown. To me, it seems like they're only after money. Therefore, I absolutely do not recommend them!
I visited the clinic with my Pennant's parakeet and am very satisfied with the treatment and care. I was able to get an appointment quickly and without a long wait. The entire team was consistently friendly, empathetic, and very dedicated to helping my pet in the best possible way. Before the treatment began, they explained to me in detail and in an easy-to-understand manner which examinations and procedures were necessary. I was also given transparent information about the expected costs and payment methods, so there was never any uncertainty. I particularly appreciated that no unnecessary treatments were performed and all decisions were clearly made with the animal's best interests in mind. After my parakeet's surgery, I was promptly informed about his condition. In addition, I received a daily phone call with an update on his health, which gave me, as the pet owner, a great deal of peace of mind. Throughout his stay, I always felt that my pet was in good hands. I would like to sincerely thank the entire team for the competent medical care, the transparent communication, and the attentive care they provided for my pet. Naturally, the costs at a specialized veterinary clinic are higher than at a regular veterinary practice. However, it's important to be aware that these clinics employ specialized veterinarians, which significantly increases the chances of successful treatment.
I brought my sick African Grey parrot here. I had made an appointment, which was kept almost exactly on time. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. They took plenty of time for the examination and discussed the results thoroughly. After administering the medication as prescribed, the bird is doing really well again. I can highly recommend this clinic.
