Short version: For heaven's sake, don't go there. That guy will make your pet even sicker. Long version: I could overlook the fact that this person is unfriendly, even abusive, if it were for my dog's well-being. However, his preferred examination method seems to be palpating the dog's back with Q-tips (whether he's looking for acupuncture points or receiving hyperdimensional vibrations? I don't know, sorry). We originally took our dog there because she had a rash and swollen genitals. But using the Q-tip method, the good man quickly diagnosed a liver condition. Then Dr. May examined our dog's genitals. Mind you: Without gloves and without first disinfecting his hands, he simply grabbed onto them and squeezed. And yes, our poor little dog understandably jumped almost to the ceiling. His conclusion was that the dog had been in pain for a long time and urgently needed to be treated with painkillers. I was almost completely shocked. I spend about 24/7 with my dog. We play Frisbee every day, play catch with other dogs, cuddle, play football... So how could I not have noticed that she was so seriously ill that even the touch of a cotton swab on her back made her wince in pain?!? In a panic, we had Dr. May do a blood test on our dog for €200. The result was that her liver values ​​were within the normal range. But according to him, these lab results didn't mean anything at all (after all, the Q-tips had spoken!). This man and his assistant then sent us away with a referral for an X-ray and the feeling that our dog and her terrible "drinker's liver" were already two feet away from the grave. The next day, completely distraught, we drove to a veterinary clinic in Saarbrücken, where they gave our dog a thorough examination. Which means, in plain English, ultrasound instead of Q-tips. There, two different doctors even examined the genitals, without the dog even flinching. Conclusion: Our dog's liver is in excellent health. It couldn't be better. She's not in pain at all, and the rash was gone by the next morning with the medication the clinic gave us. Thank you, Dr. May, you caused us a lot of expense and a sleepless night. We'll consider this visit to you an early Halloween prank.

I took my dog ​​to this practice for anal gland treatment. My dog ​​had been to another vet just two weeks ago and was healthy, which is why I came to this practice only because of this specific problem. While the actual problem was being treated, another examination was performed without my prior notice. Even during the "additional" treatment itself, there were no indications of any possible irregularities. Furthermore, I had to pay for this treatment, even though I wasn't fully informed. The vet's response to further inquiries over the phone was inappropriate. Overall, I would have appreciated more transparency and respectful communication. I was also offered an increase in the bill after all of this.

Even though scheduling the appointment via WhatsApp was a bit unusual—which, in today's work environment, can certainly be seen as agile—I was very satisfied with the treatment. My two cats, former strays, are very shy animals, but Mr. May's calm demeanor and proactive communication put me at ease enough that I could be fully present for my cats with peace of mind. He also answered all my questions very transparently and gave me unbiased advice. This shows that, in addition to his professional expertise, he has also remained a genuinely human being. We will gladly come again.

Dr. May is a wonderful, competent veterinarian who really takes the time to get to know his little patients. He helped us a lot with our cat 😺❤️ Thank you so much to you and your team, we will gladly come back anytime.

5 Stars – Absolutely recommended! I can only say that this is the best veterinary practice I have ever found! The vet is simply fantastic, and my pet received truly excellent care. I felt very comfortable and well looked after. My dog, Hitch, wasn't at all anxious, which I really appreciated. Even though we walked in without an appointment due to an emergency, everything was taken care of immediately, and I'm sure this will now be our "go-to" vet. I find it particularly impressive that they really take their time with each individual animal, and the vet is even available afterward via WhatsApp to make sure the animal is doing well. Hitch received immediate help, and we were able to alleviate his symptoms right away. Thanks to the thorough consultation, the competent vet was also able to rule out various possible causes. A huge compliment to this wonderful practice and the superb service! We feel completely well cared for and can wholeheartedly recommend this practice!
