My mare had colic yesterday (Saturday evening). I couldn't reach anyone locally, so I called Mr. Mrkor. He said he'd charge €500 (!) just for coming out. Just for the trip!!! The journey takes about 35-40 minutes! Outrageous! Of course, I didn't pay him, and after several more calls, I finally found a vet who came without demanding €500 just for the trip.
