Regarding the unqualified assessment of the fawn, I can only say from experience: fawns often die simply from complications of shock, often induced by the "rescuer." Furthermore, with wild animals, you often don't know what happened beforehand or whether there are any other injuries. I can't judge, but to judge a veterinarian based on such a situation is highly unprofessional. I find Dr. Szczepanski to be absolutely competent in his field. He remained empathetic despite the backbreaking work with so-called farm animals, which is already difficult enough for a veterinarian. He tried every possible means to help our pig, but also honestly communicated the prognosis, and we are grateful and satisfied with the treatment!

Yesterday he gave a supposed pain injection to a little fawn that had its paw stuck and was only limping, three hours later the poor animal was dead! Probably a painkiller for a large cow and not a 2kg fawn. The man's license should be revoked!
