After our cat suddenly developed problems, I first called the vet in Garmisch. They immediately created a lot of panic, which made me feel extremely pressured as a pet owner. In retrospect, I unfortunately got the impression that they were rushing into as many tests and high costs as possible, instead of calmly and objectively assessing the situation. I then contacted the vet in Mittenwald. Although the practice was actually fully booked, they still took the time to listen to the situation and assess it objectively and honestly. This calm conversation alone helped enormously and allowed us to breathe a sigh of relief. This is exactly how you want to be treated when dealing with concerned pet owners: empathetically, calmly, and with the animal's best interests at heart – without unnecessary scaremongering. Even if you live in Garmisch, I would recommend making the trip to Mittenwald if the animal's well-being and fair, humane advice are important to you.

Kind and helpful vet. Even though we weren't his patients because he was only here on vacation, he welcomed us and helped us with the utmost care.
