Reviews
Dr. Pilling is a friendly, highly competent, and dedicated veterinarian with a welcoming team. She provides loving care for her patients. She comes highly recommended, including by me: She is especially recommended if your pet is sick, injured, or expecting puppies. She performs surgery well, and if she cannot help a patient herself, she refers them to the veterinary clinic in Weilheim.
We came to Dr. Med. Vet. Pilling's practice today due to an emergency. Our dog ate a poisonous mushroom while hiking. She was the only veterinarian in the area who was easily accessible. We were admitted quickly and treated immediately. Our dog was given an inducer to induce vomiting, and we were there for a while for observation. The vet was very competent, helped us quickly, and explained everything thoroughly. We also received charcoal tablets for aftercare. The price of the treatment was also very fair, and despite the fact that we disrupted the entire practice, she took plenty of time for us and was super friendly, as was her staff.
It couldn't be better! On a recommendation—because we were at a loss—we ended up with Dr. P. Our "always injured girl," Molli (an 8-year-old mixed breed), had recovered well from cruciate ligament surgery, but after chasing a cat, she was experiencing significant problems again. We went to a specialist clinic in Munich, and they wanted Molli to be given 126 tablets of an anti-epileptic drug "on suspicion," meaning as a process of elimination, until her X-ray appointment in 14 days. Why wasn't an X-ray done right away? It was mentioned on the phone because I wanted to know if Molli needed to fast. So yesterday, Molli had her X-rayed by Dr. Pilling without any problems and without anesthesia, and it turned out to be much less serious than we had feared. We were incredibly relieved. She'll never be an athlete again, but normal walks on a leash are no problem. Dr. Pilling spent over an hour of her time (and that was late in the evening!) with us. P. "sacrificed" himself for us, explained everything in detail, and all at a more than fair price. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
My dog has become very anxious about going to the vet. This vet is different. She was clean and happy. She wasn't afraid. They take their time and are very attentive to the animal. Very friendly and competent. Everything is explained very well. You feel like your pets are in good hands there.
