Too team
We've been taking our dog to this practice for seven years now and always feel well cared for. We're always greeted warmly and given thorough and understandable explanations during all examinations. The entire team is very friendly and treats the animals with loving care. We are very grateful for the competent and empathetic care 🙏🏻
In September, my cat was neutered and microchipped here, which should have been a routine procedure. They said you're supposed to bring your cat in for a health check a week before the neutering, which I found odd since I hadn't needed this with my cat months earlier and therefore didn't bother with it to save the cat the stress and expense. So, they just took his temperature and gave him a quick look, and then he was taken into their care that morning. I didn't hear anything until midday, so I called for the first time, as I was anxiously waiting for news. They said he was still groggy and waking up, and that I should expect to hear back later. I was able to bring my cat home after 2.5 hours. So I was somewhat relieved, but still wondered why it had taken so long. When I still hadn't heard anything by the afternoon, I called again. On the phone, I was suddenly told that he hadn't tolerated the anesthesia well and had received an antidote to wake him up. I was told I could only pick him up at the end of the day when he was stable, or that he might even have to stay overnight for observation. So I called again that evening, and then they said he was reasonably stable but still a bit groggy 😵 and his temperature was a little low. They told me to keep him warm and indoors. Only when I arrived and asked about the €370 bill and what had been done did I learn that he had also received an antibiotic injection 💉... all without my knowledge, phone call, or any input from me. When my credit card wasn't accepted, and I offered to pay by bank transfer, they refused to let me take my cat 😵 unless I paid immediately, otherwise he would have to stay overnight! What?!?! So I drove there, got another card, and was finally able to bring my still completely groggy cat home. When I saw him, I was shocked. He was supposed to have a small injury/scratch on the right side of his head treated, but then they shaved his entire front without my knowledge, including some of his whiskers and even up to his eye 😳😳😱!! I felt neither well-informed nor well-treated, and I can only strongly advise against having your pet treated here!
