Reviews
A veterinary practice I've trusted completely for years. Both my horse and my cat are always treated competently, calmly, and with great care. I always feel well-advised and taken seriously. A friendly team, high levels of expertise, and genuine animal welfare are their top priorities. Thank you for the excellent care over the years!
What an experience! I'd rather drive more kilometers than you. I came back, and she'd put my dog in quarantine. She forgot to mention that someone would pick him up and that the whole thing would take a month and a half. He's a puppy, and by the time he gets back, he'll be fully grown. And the whole thing cost €1300! Not to mention the children crying after him. It was awful. All thanks to that vet!
Great doctor and staff. Highly recommended. Our little one felt better immediately after the treatment.
I took my dog Kimi to Dr. Wiedenhöft to have her diagnosed with suspected Cushing's disease. The procedure involved taking a blood sample to establish a baseline level, followed by a cortisol injection to monitor her metabolism. This prompted further blood draws after 4 and 8 hours. The 4-hour test wasn't deemed necessary, which unfortunately didn't provide a conclusive result. Therefore, I'm now having another test done at the Vier Seen veterinary practice in Ratzeburg. 190 euros wasted, and not a word of apology – very disappointing. It's a longer trip now, but my animals are worth it. I can confirm the team's friendliness, but unfortunately, they are very incompetent. 😔 UPDATE!!!! I received the results of the blood test from the Vier Seen veterinary practice today, which states that my dog does not have Cushing's disease. The incorrectly performed test by Ms. Wiedenhöft had shown something different. The tablets for a disease that doesn't even exist could have been fatal for my dog, so dear people, be careful when choosing a vet.
