Reviews
The best vet around...we gladly drive 60 km for treatment. She is absolutely competent, and anyone open to alternative treatments for their animals is in safe hands here. The practice is clean and the waiting area is comfortably furnished. We've been taking our Bruno 🐕 to this practice for over 11 years now and are very satisfied. The 5 stars are more than deserved...
This incompetent vet is an outrage. She can't do X-rays or ultrasounds. She couldn't even detect a golf ball-sized liver tumor in a cat, and instead gave her useless IV fluids. I can't understand the fake 5-star reviews.
Unfortunately, in our opinion, this veterinarian is only profit-driven. The treatment wasn't very gentle with our animals, and I had the feeling she was overwhelmed even with small animals. Despite numerous examinations, a diagnosis couldn't be made. She also doesn't treat her own animals very gently. I don't want to say any more... WE DEFINITELY WERE THERE FOR THE LAST TIME!!!! She doesn't even deserve one star.
I took my large dog to her once out of fear that he had been poisoned. Unfortunately, my dog is generally very anxious around vets and this time just wanted to get out of the office. The plan was to take a blood sample after a brief medical history. It was a complete disaster. She cornered my terrified dog where I was supposed to hold him and forcibly drew his blood. Zero empathy for both the animal and the owner. Zero expertise as well. Unfortunately.
A very nice and friendly veterinary practice. The animal is thoroughly examined, and the diagnosis is explained clearly. Further treatment options are discussed. Ms. Salzmann Wode is also very approachable and attentive to the pet owner.
