Never again. We went to Dr. Rockenschaub for a routine procedure – the spaying of our female cat. According to the practice, the procedure went smoothly. The surgical wound looked very good and inconspicuous post-operatively. Once home, the cat recovered very quickly. We didn't think anything of it at all. Given this, we were very satisfied with the procedure. However, almost two months later, despite being spayed, the cat went into heat again! We certainly hadn't expected this. When we called Dr. Rockenschaub and explained the situation, he more or less fobbed us off by saying that the cause of the renewed heat cycle was related to her adrenal glands and that we could now give her the pill once a week to prevent further heat cycles. He denied any malpractice or anything of the sort and offered no follow-up examination or check-up. We then researched online and consulted several veterinarians. Every veterinarian we consulted has confirmed that this isn't related to the adrenal gland and that being in heat after spaying is definitely not normal! We then had a blood test done at our own expense by another veterinarian, which confirmed that remnants of ovarian tissue were still present, forcing us to have our cat undergo a second surgery! During the second operation, it became clear that Dr. Rockenschaub had performed the procedure poorly. We are beyond disappointed and angry with Dr. Rockenschaub's behavior. Not only because of the stress for our cat, but also because the cost was four times higher than for a standard spay. We were offered neither aftercare nor compensation for the additional expenses. We were only refunded for the surgery performed by this practice! It's a shame that we weren't offered any kind of compensation or a free follow-up appointment. Instead, they tried to cover up the botched surgery with additional medication. Our conclusion: Thanks for nothing!

What a lovely person Dr. Rockenschaub is! We took our three female dogs to him in August for spaying. We drove all the way from Germany because it's much cheaper in Austria. We were there with them and held them while they fell asleep, and then came back two hours later when they woke up. I was really worried that the mother of the two might negatively influence their behavior if I left them with him and picked them up again six hours later, like we did with our vet in Germany. But it was absolutely fantastic. Dr. Rockenschaub then explained in detail what the next steps would be, such as when the stitches would be removed and how the females might change in general. He really took his time. We felt very well cared for. It's a shame he's too far away for routine checkups and vaccinations; otherwise, he would be our regular vet. But I constantly recommend him whenever anyone I know is talking about any major procedures. Dr. Rockenschaub then explained everything in detail, including when the stitches would be removed and how the females might change in general. My puppy was suffering from extreme pain due to an infection, which couldn't be adequately relieved despite hospitalization at another veterinary clinic. Every movement, every touch was agony for him. Thanks to Dr. Rockenschaub's excellent treatment, the pain was significantly reduced within an hour and almost completely gone the next day. I am incredibly grateful to him! I'm so glad that this wonderful, competent, and very kind veterinarian was recommended to me by a dear colleague.

I feel very well cared for here with my cat. Advice is straightforward, and I've never felt like I was being pressured into unnecessary things, as is often the case elsewhere. The team is super friendly and the value is excellent. Highly recommended 🙏👍
