My first visit to Dr. Marczinke was on July 1, 2023, on Pets Care Day. I brought Sammy and Mia with me, both with heart defects and teeth. Dr. Marczinke confirmed that they both had heart murmurs. Everything was fine, everyone was very nice. I then got an appointment a week later at the practice for x-rays and dental work. I entered the practice and was immediately asked to pay €200. I was surprised because I thought I would only have to pay a small fee. Well, I left my dogs there and picked them up in the afternoon and put the €200 on the table. My Mia was given water and heart tablets, and Sammy didn't need any medication. I was surprised because he also had a heart murmur. I went home and everything was fine. Two and a half weeks later, Sammy was very ill. I went straight to the animal clinic. They reacted quickly and put Sammy in an oxygen tent. Two hours later, I received a call from the clinic saying they had to put Sammy down, otherwise he would suffocate painfully. Sammy had a severe heart defect and developed pulmonary edema. He died on August 7, 2023🖤😭😭😭😭 Why didn't my Sammy get water and heart medication from Dr. Marczinke like Mia did? Today, August 17, 2023, I visited Dr. Marczinke and told him that I had to have Sammy🖤 put down because of pulmonary edema😭🥺. His response was... he was already 11 years old. I was shaking all over and thought I couldn't hear right. I'm not a vet, but I think things could have gone differently? There was no bill for the €200 either? I will definitely not visit this (in my opinion, capricious) vet again. I am a pensioner and have a small pension and never wanted to harm my dogs 🐕 🐕.

The best veterinarian you could wish for! Dr. Marczinke always takes his time, guiding us sensitively through illnesses, treatments, and even the difficult farewell. He even calls outside of office hours to check on our pet. With his calm demeanor, expertise, and warmth, you always feel you're in the best hands. Highly recommended!
