A very competent veterinarian. She's polite, and most importantly, she's very gentle with my animals. Appointments are easy to get, and if you do have to wait, it's never long. She's excellent at time management. Misdiagnoses? Never happened! What I find appalling, though, are the people who write bad reviews for the wrong doctor, trying to make them look bad. You should be able to distinguish between men and women. It really leaves me speechless.

We've been silent for long enough, but after reading another affected person's review, I decided I shouldn't stay silent any longer either. In 2016, we had to have our beloved dog put down, and we had complete trust in our vet. Three to four weeks later, there was a great Facebook post from an animal welfare organization (dog with these characteristics found in the woods by the roadside). Everything matched our dog. But wait a minute? That's definitely not our dog; he was lovingly taken away and brought to the crematorium. Of course, it was our dog, and when everything went to court, there was only a fine for "illegal waste disposal." What kind of world do we live in where our animals are just "things"? We always saw the best in a person. Everyone deserves a second chance, and everyone makes mistakes, but anyone who makes such a mistake a second time needs help or doesn't want to be a veterinarian. That's disgusting and sick. I truly hope that God sees all of this, and I know that everyone will receive their just punishment, if not now, then someday. But to take someone's beloved animal like that should be ashamed. No matter how much I drag a person/company through the mud, I won't stay silent anymore. Please avoid this veterinarian—or rather, this person who shouldn't even call himself a veterinarian. One should have a certain connection to the animal in order to be called a veterinarian.

I have no idea if the story about the euthanized animals is true, but this practice is extremely unfriendly either way. Ms. Manger is very condescending and often brusque with the animals themselves. It's not good for senior animals or animals that shouldn't be traumatized (all of them). It used to be better, but that was many years ago.

I can understand the negative reviews. The woman was absolutely unfriendly. I called asking for help with a missing pet. You're definitely better off not relying on their services.

Four years ago, we took our then-young cat to be spayed or neutered. This vet was compassionate and very friendly. We ourselves, new to Altenkirchen, were happy to have found her. I don't understand the many negative reviews; perhaps things have changed. However, we were very satisfied.
