We have had only positive experiences with Mr. Winkler. While on vacation, we had to use his emergency service at night. After a thorough examination, the problem with our dog was identified and then treated quickly and competently. Because we used the emergency service, we were aware that there would be an emergency service fee. In summary, we have nothing negative to say. Many thanks again to Mr. Winkler. We were able to continue our vacation the next day. :)

I'm appalled by the negative reviews here. We've been taking several animals to Mr. Winkler for many years. We're very satisfied. Short waiting times, no time-consuming fuss. Mr. Winkler is always professional, always answers our questions satisfactorily, and even when we ask follow-up questions, he remains patient. He's not a man of many words. Okay, you have to like that, but you can't fault him for it. The cost estimates are always accurate, too. Of course, you should ask beforehand if you want to be prepared. ;) Occasionally, unforeseen things can happen that increase the costs. Nobody can see into the future, not even Mr. Winkler. If you show up with an emergency or outside of office hours, you have to expect higher costs. That's always been the case and is true for other vets as well. Furthermore, I really appreciate that he knows his patients and still remembers their names even after a while :) I think some reviews are simply unfair to him. You reap what you sow ;)

After we called, Mr. Winkler agreed to treat our sick cat on a Saturday, even though we are not regular patients at the practice! In our opinion, the vet was competent, professional, and polite, and most importantly: HE HELPED OUR PET! The cost, including the emergency fee, met our expectations. CONCLUSION: Everything was great, and thank you again!!!

One star is already too much. What happened there was unacceptable. The wound wasn't even cleaned; she was handled roughly, without any care. An injection was given in her hip, and the needle wasn't disinfected. Three days later, she developed an abscess with a lot of pus, and the injection site was right there. He then claimed it was from something sharp—that was his excuse. The injection site was clearly visible. We paid over €300 for such unprofessional work. I would absolutely not recommend them. We've heard the same thing from other people. We've already taken further action. Another vet was able to help us.
